Woven Baskets — Interior Storage Objects

Project Type

Interior Storage Objects / Handcrafted Woven Baskets

Date

March 2026

Location

Uzhhorod, Ukraine

One of the less obvious things about a good interior is this: it should not only be beautiful, but also structured. Everything — from the smallest everyday item to the bigger essentials — needs its own place. That idea is what led to these interior baskets.

They were inspired by Ukrainian basket-weaving culture and developed with a pattern that echoes the look of traditional willow weaving. At the same time, the material makes them practical for everyday life: cotton on the outside, with polyamide fibres inside to give the form more bounce, softness, and volume.

I wanted them to feel warm to the touch, easy to care for, and visually calm in the space. The twisted rope handles are sewn in place, which also means the baskets can be washed.

For me, this is a contemporary way of carrying Ukrainian weaving traditions into modern interiors — through objects that are both useful and quietly beautiful.

Now your keys, cotton pads, sponges, or other small everyday things can finally have a home of their own.

About Me

Everything I create is guided by two intentions:

to evoke a specific emotional state and to structure space around individual needs.

I see this as my contribution — helping people move in their own direction, stay true to who they are, and remain open to change when it feels right.
